What Is Doodle Shooter? A Guide to Doodle District

Doodle Shooter is a free first-person shooter that runs directly in a modern web browser. Its playable game, Doodle District, turns ruled notebook paper, blue-ink lines and red corrections into a fast arena filled with rooftops, enemies and oversized stationery.

There is no download required and you do not need an account to start playing. Open the game, choose a mode and click inside the frame to capture the mouse.

Survive the district

Solo mode starts at Wave 1 and steadily adds tougher enemies. Grunts pressure you in the streets, rushers close the distance, snipers control long sightlines and flying or armored enemies force you to change position. Boss encounters break up longer runs with larger threats and new attack patterns.

Every run records your score, wave, eliminations and survival time. The result screen also identifies your most-used weapon and awards a run title such as Katana Master or Ink Sniper.

Movement is part of the weapon set

Doodle Shooter is built around staying mobile. Sprinting, sliding, wall jumping, air dashing and grappling let you cross the map quickly or escape a crowded street. Rooftops are useful, but remaining in one place for too long makes you an easy target for ranged enemies.

The grappling hooks are especially important. Use them to reach high ground, swing around corners or create space before reloading.

Pick the right tool

The rifle is dependable at most distances, the shotgun rewards close-range movement, and the sniper rifle is built for precise shots across the district. The katana turns close combat into a timing game with slashes, blocks and deflections. Grenades help clear groups when a wave becomes crowded.

You can switch weapons at any time, so a strong run usually combines several of them instead of relying on only one.

Challenge friends and compare runs

After a solo run, Doodle Shooter can generate a score card and challenge link. A friend who opens the link starts from Wave 1 with the same challenge seed, enemy sequence, spawn setup and item drops. Their movement and enemy AI still develop in real time, so each attempt remains its own game.

Challenge leaderboards use anonymous player labels. Submit your result to compare scores, share your rank and invite another player to attempt the same run.

Play together online

Multiplayer uses browser-to-browser WebRTC connections. You can create a public or private lobby, share its code and join a free-for-all match without installing a separate client. Connection quality depends on the participating players and their networks.
